• A busy week…

Pfoe… last week was a pretty busy week for me. It started on friday 19th with my birthday, I invited my parents and parents in law for a birthday dinner. We had a great time, we even played with the wii I got for my birthday.

• Birthday cake

Last week my nephew Bram turned 4. As a starting tradition he always orders his birthday cake with me. And off-course I feel honored with such a request. This year the pre-condition was that it should be red, for a while now that’s his favorite color, I have no clue from whom he got that…. ;-)

• Christmas themed swap

I did a lovely christmas themed swap with Marieke from VanMarieke. The beautiful ornaments she has send me got me inspired to start decorating the house, and do some christmas crafting. And right now I’m listening to christmas songs allready, the old ones with Bing Crosby singing.

As I started my new blog career, I thought I needed my own name tags. From time to time I sell stuff I make to colleagues, friends or family and it would be nice to ‘pimp’ the packages with my own tags.

Last weekend I worked hard for an order of party banners, I finished 3 and still have 2 to go! It always takes more time then I accounted for. Yesterday I was reading trough the ‘Country Living’ and I was struck by the article on Chris Myers’ home. Oh I loved it so much, I wish my home looked like that. I made a start with a few pieces of the Green Gate collection, so maybe if I just start adding the colors to our house…

• Presents

This week I had to make some presents for a Sinterklaas evening with colleagues. And I had an order for a felt covered photo album. The pink notebook was really fought for during the evening as we played a game where you could change and pick presents from others and back again, it was really fun to play.
