Crochet cushion covers

I’m so proud that I actually finished a crochet cushion cover. The cushion cover top left, I made with the help of the instructions by Yvonne of Yvestown. The cushion cover is a present for my mom, but I have to make one for myself too, because I miss him already…

The cover for the floor cushion, an 75 x 75 cm IKEA cushion, I made for my best friends birthday. Two years ago I made an other version with pompoms on the side, but now I wanted to try an crocheted edging. And I love it :-)

Yesterday I finished row 11 of my crochet blanket, today I start with row 12, and then I might need to add an extra row to side… but then…. the edging!! I haven’t made a decision on the edging yet. Anyone seen nice edging on internet, or made some herself? Till now I only can come up with the simple shell edging I also used for the cushion cover.

    Ik vind je kussens geweldig geworden…echt leuk!

    Ik heb ook 4 van die grote 75 x 75 kussens van Ikea….en weet nu wat ik daar mee ga doen ;o)

    En nog even over de rand van de deken.
    Ik hou van de simpele “Shell edging” ;o))

    Volg je blog al een tijd maar nog niet eerder gereageerd. Maar aangezien ik op het moment ook bezeten ben met het haak-virus moest ik toch even wat zeggen over je hoes, want die is echt prachtig geworden!

    Wat zijn je creaties mooi. :-) Vooral de gehaakte kussen. De kleuren zijn lekker fel en het wit eromheen maakt het net wat rustiger, geeft het een mooi geheel. Ik begin nog maar net met haken, ben met de makkelijke oma-variant bezig. Het is lekker verslavend omdat je snel resultaat ziet.

    Geweldige creaties!! Zo’n wit granny square kussen staat ook nog op mijn to do lijst. Momenteel ben ik aan het uitrusten..ik ben bezig met een kleed van granny’s en daar moeten er 300 in komen, whaha! Wie verzint dat nou weer?! :)
    Ik heb er inmiddels bijna 100!

    Hi Petra, I LOVE the photos of your crochet cushions and I love the bright colours too. So gorgeous! I also like how you’ve added a crocheted edging to the patchwork cushion. I love crochet and am also doing a crochet project. Its so much fun!!

    Ik vindt je kussenhoes echt prachtig. Ik raak steeds meer geinspireerd door al die prachtige granny objecten.
    Dus maar gauw mijn bestaande projecten afronden en dan aan de vierkantje :-)

    They are adorable, all of them! Oh… how I wished I could crochet too…

    I unfortunately have no idea about the edging. If I could only get as far as one little square – they are beautiful
