• Felt cover for baby album

The grape hyacinths (blauwe druifjes) have finished blooming. I replaced the little blue flowers with this assortment of buttercups (ranonkels) I placed them beside my bed, and every time I open the bedroom door, a smile apears on my face.

• Spring is in the air

Today I felt the energy to create again, jippee. I picked up an old WIP project, and it’s almost finished now. Two more bushes with flowers have to be attached, and then I will have my own piece of ‘art’ to brighten up my studio.

• Another felt workshop

My best friend said, what you had for your birthday, I want that too! So yesterday 9 girls together became crafty and creative. So fun to see how everyone shows their her own character in their creations.

• Swap with An

This week I had a swap with An from vAN alles en nog wat … We agreed on a red themed swap. I was very pleased with the notebook cover I made for An, it was difficult to part with it… The bag was something new I tried, and now I want to make more!

• iPod covers

A colleague asked me if I could make her a cover for her new iPod. When I started designing one for her, the ideas for other versions just popped up like mushrooms. I worked out four of those ideas so she could choose, and if it was meant to be, she chose the one I initially designed for her. [...]

• A busy week…

Pfoe… last week was a pretty busy week for me. It started on friday 19th with my birthday, I invited my parents and parents in law for a birthday dinner. We had a great time, we even played with the wii I got for my birthday.

• Presents

This week I had to make some presents for a Sinterklaas evening with colleagues. And I had an order for a felt covered photo album. The pink notebook was really fought for during the evening as we played a game where you could change and pick presents from others and back again, it was really fun to play.
