• Entrée des Fournisseurs

entreedesfounisseurs

Right next to HOME Autour du Monde, Rue des Francs Bourgeois 8, you can find the most yummy haberdashery store I have ever visited. The shop is mostly full with buttons and ribbon, but they also sell Liberty fabric, wool felt and patterns.
I spent a fortune on French ribbons, I loved them and I now try [...]

• Autour du Monde

autour-du-monde

Another great shop in Paris is HOME Autour du Monde. I found a lot of inspiration there, they offer a nice mix of vintage like and design stuff. I visited their shop on Rue des Francs Bourgeois 8, which they call their concept store.
The street Rue des Francs Bourgeois is worth visiting all by itself, it’s [...]

• Antoine & Lili

antoine-et-lili-1

Antoine & Lili was on the recommendation list of Clare, from the Lulu Carter blog. And she was so right, I was so overwhelmed by the shops, I couldn’t buy anything (lucky for my wallet ;-)) On their website I found out that they have several shops around Paris. I have visited the ‘flag’ store [...]

1+2 101 Woonideeën, 3+4 VT Wonen, 5+6 At Home Kinderen
Yesterday I spent a few hours at the ‘Woonbeurs Amsterdam‘. I got two free entree tickets with my subscription to 101 Woonideeën (my new favorite Dutch magazine). It was fun to walk around there, just for inspiration, and have some chats with the stylists and shop [...]

• Basil 2010 catalogue

basils2010catalogue

Yesterday I found an unexpected treasure at the bike shop, the Basil 2010 catalogue. I already own a very lovely shopper that I can hang on the back of my bike, so I knew the brand. But when my eye fell on this booklet in the rack, and I opened it up, my heart made [...]

• I could use some feedback

owen-and-sophia

Sometimes I think that everyone is crafting around the world, because of that endless amount of inspiring blogs. But in my daily reality, that’s not the case…. No one in my neighborhood I know is crafting in any way, so when I am in desperate need of any feedback, I have no one to show my project and discuss…
But [...]

• Wet felting

wet-felting

The day before I ruptured my achilles tendon, I spent an afternoon in my aunt’s studio. She does wet felting a lot and I wanted to learn the process for some time now. The picture above shows my first project. I was really excited when I actually felt the wool, soap and water doing their job. I still think [...]
