Vandaag een blog van twee Zweedse stylisten Sanna & Sania. Mijn oog viel op de volle zonnige kleuren van zowel het haakwerk als de interieur foto’s. Hoewel deze blog geschreven is in het Zweeds, spreken de foto’s volgens mij voor zichzelf.

DIY ideas with masking tape

To celebrate the new MT tapes available at byPetra, I have collected some great ideas with masking tape. Masking tape (or washi or paper tape) is very versatile to use, it’s easy to tear, I doesn’t leave any glue marks after removing and you can write on it.

Lately I can’t keep my eyes off light colored Scandinavian blogs. I love the feeling they give me, and they inspire me to change the looks of my workroom. Today it’s sunny, and I’m longing for warmer days to wear my skirts and flip-flops and that life will feel just a little lighter.

Today’s blog is Härlight hemma, indulge in the Scandinavian lightness, again….. :-)

Envelope ‘art’

The present I made and wrapped with self-made wrapping paper, I have send by post to my friend. Of course the envelope got a special treatment as well :-)

I used the Russian doll stamps designed by Eline. And printed a free paper pattern of Fifi Mandirac on sticker paper and cut the bunting from it.

With HEMA gel pens I colored some details of the stamps, I love the matte result.

As finishing touch I wanted to write the address with Dymo labels. But I didn’t have a label writer (yet), so I faked it with the Impact Label font printed on photo weight paper, that worked out pretty well.

DIY wrapping

For the notebook with the fabric cover, the wrapping was handmade as well. I stamped a piece of kraft paper with stamps from the Eline’s Huis and Eline’s Winterhuis series. I used the doily from the Cross stitch set with white opaque StazOn ink, the ‘Roses are red…’ text stamp from the Butterfly set and the squirrel from the Let it snow set, which I stamped with timber brown StazOn ink. I punched and stamped a label, and finished the wrapping with a piece of white lace ribbon. The letters I used are from Cavallini alphabet stamp set.

Het notitieboek met de stoffen kaft heb ik ingepakt met zelfgemaakt inpakpapier. Ik heb een stuk kraft inpakpapier bestempeld met stempels van de Eline’s Huis en de Eline’s Winterhuis serie. Het kanten kleedje is een stempel van de Cross stitch serie, en heb ik gestempeld met white opaque inkt van StazOn. De tekst ‘Roses are…’ is van de Butterfly stempelset en de eekhoorn is van de Let it snow stempel set, deze heb ik gestempeld met timber brown StazOn stempelinkt. Ik heb een label geponst en bestempeld en een wit kanten lintje gebruikt om het af te werken. De alfabet letter stempels die ik heb gebruikt zijn van Cavallini.
